Update on Minton and Weitzman

Attorney Michael Minton has shown that whole sentences from Weitzman’s conclusion in his expert report, submitted to the court in 2001, were taken from a WHO consultation on maternal smoking and SIDS in 1999. Weitzman pleaded problems with amassing reports and data from a large number of sources. Minton rubbed salt in W’s wounds by displaying the University of Rochester’s web page on plagiarism. Weitzmann said that those few sentences were not the important about why we’re here. “Scientists are trying to find the factors that will save baby’s lives,” he said.
