On Wednesday, November 17th at 9:30 a.m., the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit will hear oral argument on defendants’ appeal of the District Court’s decision denying defendants’ motion for summary judgment as to the United States’ $280 billion disgorgement claim. The hearing will take place in the Ceremonial Courtroom (6th floor) of the U.S. District Courthouse. Each side has been allotted 20 minutes to present arguments before a three judge panel. Michael Dreeben of the Solicitor General’s office will argue for the government.
On Thursday, November 18th in the trial court, the United States will present its first interim summation. The summation will be presented before Judge Kessler beginning at 9:30 a.m. and will last 90 minutes. The summation will be presented orally. . . .
