WIGAND on the Hot Seat

As any viewer of “The Insider” movie may surmise, Jeffrey Wigand has a somewhat tangled and troublesome history. B&W lawyer David Bernick is grilling him on his testimonies in this case, in the Butler case (1995) and in B&W v. Wigand (1996), his networking/job search after his B&W employ, and his financial arrangements with trial lawyers — especially with Ron Motley, and most especially in a New York judgement that siphoned $2 million to Dr. Wigand’s Smoke Free Kids.
